On the International day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the partners of the LAB4GE project come together today to call on each other and everyone else to stand up against acts of racial prejudice and discrimination, and together build a global society where everyone is equal.
“Race and gender are social constructs that reflect the predominant societal prejudices. Both have seemingly biological underpinnings which themselves are social constructs. And crucially, both are used to attribute, justify and defend the superiority of one group over another.” In their fight against these social constructs of racism and gender inequality, the LAB4GE partners are committed to eliminate prejudice and discrimination in any form and ensure equality for all.
