The transformative power of global education – International Traineeship with Anthropolis in Hungary for 6 monhts

Living in Budapest for six months was a truly unique experience for me. By working with Anthropolis I learned a lot about the transformative power of global education and digital storytelling. I could clearly see the importance and value in the work I did, and how these projects have the potential to change the lives of young people all over the world. I mostly worked on Erasmus+ projects, my main tasks involved writing, research, editing and proofreading. What I liked the most was how varied the tasks were. Every week it felt like I was working on something new. This gave me the opportunity to learn about new and interesting topics and gain experience in a wide variety of tasks.
I felt very lucky that I had the opportunity to live in a beautiful city like Budapest. I enjoyed seeing all its lovely sights and museums. I also took the opportunity to travel around Hungary and to Slovakia, and Austria. Exploring new countries and cultures broadened my perspectives. This greatly improved my own overall confidence and willingness to try new things. After completing this traineeship, I feel confident in saying that I would like to pursue a career in the NGO sector.
