The International Traineeship is a 3-month work-based traineeship programme funded by the Turing Scheme focused on Management skills for Learners from the United Kingdom.

The International Traineeship is designed to provide international work experience to build Britain's future Global Leaders.

The International Traineeship is a 3-month work-based traineeship pilot funded by the Turing Scheme focused on Management skills, including Continuous Professional Development (CPD) & training, for current VET learners or recent graduates from the United Kingdom.

Asfar has 7 fully funded International Traineeships available, to the following countries:

  • Georgia
  • Azerbaijan
  • France
  • Italy
  • Israel
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina
  • Hungary

The Traineeship involves a Trainee working abroad, to learn about different global management processes, methods and techniques, while also developing essential team, leadership and sectorial skills and competencies internationally.

Furthermore, the Trainee will learn a range of soft skills including:

  • A Foreign language
  • Intercultural communication skills
  • International living competencies

 

All the International Traineeships and the training will focus on developing skills in the following sectors:

  • International Civil Society sector
  • Social Entrepreneurship
  • Women Economic Empower
  • Youth & Community sector
  • Sport for Development
  • Creative sector
  • International Development
  • Vocational Education Training
  • International NGO
  • Social Enterprise sector
  • Crafts and Arts sectors
