Decade of Action – Ten years to transform our world!

The United Nations has set out a plan of action in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, as the COVID-19 pandemic has made progress towards these goals more difficult. 2020-2030 is being referred to as the Decade of Action and calls for ‘accelerating sustainable solutions to all the world’s biggest challenges – ranging from poverty and gender to climate change, inequality and closing the finance gap.

‘The Decade of Action will:

  • Mobilise everyone, everywhere
  • Demand urgency and ambition
  • Supercharge ideas to solutions.

Through the project Global Learning Through Digital Stories, supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Union we are working with young people to become active citizens, who are informed about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With our work, we want to provide them with a framework that will allow them to understand more the causes and effects of global issues.
