I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Istanbul. My research into the youth sector, youth unemployment and cultural learning provided me with some unique experiences and striking comparisons. Overall, I enjoyed learning about Turkey from Takim Yildizi, observing the architecture in the city as well as being told stories about it’s cultural history.

Outside of the activity, I loved the way in which Turkish people drank tea, I found it to be something that was used as a massive hospitality tool, while building communities together.
