Asfar is happy to invite young people from the UK to apply for the International Seminar on Digital Storytelling, organized by the project partners, in July 2021 in Israel. The project specifically focuses on young people who are from 18 - 24 years old and are facing socio-economic barriers. This activity is organised through our ALF Global Learning through Digital Storytelling project. Through the project, UK young people will be able to collaborate with young people in Israel and Hungary in order to learn new methods of sharing stories, understanding different perspectives which will foster new dialogue, provide intercultural learning opportunities and build bridges between young people from the Euro-Med region. If you are interested, please send us:1. your CV;2. a motivation letter why you would like to participate and stating with which socio-economic barriers are you facing (for example: unemployed; Black, Asian and minority ethnic background; family issues; financial issues; educational barriers; migrant or refugee; skills barriers; language barriers; social issues; learning barriers; under-employed)3. a short social action plan (1-page long document/or 1.5 min long video) where you explain what problem your local community is facing, why would you like to tackle it and what kind of social action you think you would like to organise. Please send all of this above via email to resolve@asfar.org.uk by the 20th of April 2021. ... See MoreSee Less
