The Asfar International Traineeship programme is a 3 to 6-month global work placement funded by Turing Scheme, incorporating work-based skills development, such as Management Skills, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and training/learning opportunities, for participants aged 18 to 40.

1st September 2023 - 31st August 2024

The International Traineeship 2023/2024 involves a Participant volunteering abroad, to learn about different global management styles in the NGO, charity and civic society sectors internationally, while also developing essential team, leadership and sectorial skills and competencies.

Furthermore, the Participant will learn a range of soft skills including: Intercultural communication skills, a Foreign language and International living competencies.

The Asfar International Traineeship host cities and countries for 2023/2024 include:

  • North Macedonia
  • Egypt
  • Azerbaijan
  • Japan

 

All volunteering placements with NGOs will focus on developing skills in the following sectors:
• International Civil Society
• Social Entrepreneurship
• Women Economic Empowerment
• Youth & Community sector
• Sport for Development
• Creative Industries
• International Development
• Vocational Education Training
• International NGO
• Social Enterprise
• International Project Management
• Teaching
