As part of the ALF project “Global Learning through Digital Stories”, Asfar with partners has supported the implementation of 6 local actions in the UK, Israel and Hungary.
One of the local actions was the Hackney Benefits & Support Booklet. The idea and need to implement this local action came from Monjuma Begum.
The idea behind this local action was to produce an all-in-one booklet that advises on the basic benefits someone can receive and where someone can get help from. This included who to contact, where to go to start applying and where to go for advice. As well as listing places that can help anyone find a job.
