COVID-19 and the SDGs

As the UNDP notes, the COVID-19 Pandemic presents us all with great challenges as a society, but also tremendous opportunities when it comes to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Global Agenda.

Adapting, for example, to institutions functioning online and working to further human rights and democracy through digital means can show the resilience of countries and communities.

Through the project Global Learning Through Digital Stories, supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Union, we are working to provide young people with the skills necessary to share their story in a digital context, interact with people in other communities and cultures, and advocate for the changes we need to meet the SDGs through new, digital means.
